Microplastic in snow
Dr Ulyana Horodjskyj is based at the University of Colorado researching microplastic in snow from around the world. If you are travelling to a snow-covered region and would be willing to collect snow samples for her, please get in touch. Some training and minimal equipment needed.

The Arctic Conservation Fund is running an Arctic-wide survey of Arctic Fox population distribution. They are looking for volunteers to submit details of any Arctic Fox sightings. Atlantic Crab Traps
I’m a third year marine biology undergraduate at Plymouth University researching the viability of crab farming in Atlantic coastal regions. I’m looking for volunteers to place and look after specially designed crab traps. Full training and equipment is supplied. Time committment is one hour per week over a three month period. we are a small NGO that organises an annual beach clean up in the Hornstrandir Peninsula of North West Iceland. We are looking for volunteers to join us in July 2025 to participate in the clean up and carry out litter monitoring surveys for the Arctic Council.
